OSHA 30 Construction is built for supervisors, foremen, and safety managers. Many general contractors, employers, and contracts require the 30-hour card for supervisory and safety-sensitive roles.
How long does the course take?
It's 30 hours of training and fully self-paced. Because OSHA caps online training at 7.5 hours per day, the course is completed over a minimum of four days, and most learners finish in about two weeks.
OSHA 30 vs OSHA 10, which do I need?
OSHA 10 covers basic hazard awareness for entry-level workers. OSHA 30 is for supervisors and safety leads and covers hazard prevention and OSHA standards in much greater depth.
Does the OSHA 30 card expire?
The federal OSHA 30 Outreach card does not expire, though some employers and states ask workers to refresh training periodically.
When do I get my certificate and DOL card?
You can download your certificate of completion instantly after passing the final exam. Your official plastic U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) wallet card is mailed to you, typically within about two weeks.
What if I fail a quiz or the final exam?
